WWII Military Books

Having been in the military and family in the military dating back to World War II, I have a separate collection of WWII Items as well. I have done some research on a lot of the items. I have also made trips to Washington D.C. to research in the National Archives. That was an amazing venture. So I will post some stories and collectibles here. I hope that one day to develop a historical account of movement through the Pacific - following the route of the Hopi Code Talkers. One day, until then I have my collection.
Some of these items I actually bought off families, like the cruise book and boot camp pictures. During my research at the National Archives, I registered as family for the APA-190 USS Pickens and actually got a print of the boat from a shipmate of my Grandfather's. That was pretty amazing. Hopefully that story will take more life when I get more resources to continue with my research.

Check out my World War II category in my bookstore.

Now Starting in the traditional introduction to the Navy for most sailors.
